Hearing happens in a small area inside the ear with a sensitivity for sound. On this sensitive area mind is born when some one becomes aware of “hearing”.
When mind is born in dhamma it is called the “ear” is born. When the mind, sparsha, and sound seperates the “ear” is dead.
